Heard you play with Miguel Zenon at Purdue. Not only was everyone involved in the Plena project a great musician, but I felt that you really were outstanding. Now will have to find some of your cds. Thank you for a great evening.

I had the opportunity to hear your playing at the Mondavi Center for the Arts with Miguel Zenon and the Plena Project. Your playing filled me with great emotion and amazement. I look forward to another time when I can hear your piano playing again. I will next go to I-Tunes and buy your CD. Thanks. By the way, the same Saturday night that you were playing at the Mondavi, I was able to attend an Ignacio Berroa concert in Sacramento with Otmaro Ruiz playing. He was so surprised to hear that you were in the area.

Last night's performance at FlynnSpace in Burlington, VT was superb. The best jazz i have heard in years. Your trio was a joy to watch. The interactions between the musicians were fascinating.
Hope to hear you again in NYC some time.

Hello Mr. Perdomo--
Just a brief message to thank you so very much for being with us at the Meet the Artist session at FlynnSpace this afternoon (5:30 p.m., 6/8/09, Burlington, Vermont). I'm a Sister of Mercy in a house in Burlington in which about 30 elderly Sisters live, and, although many enjoy music, they aren't particularly interested in jazz, which I am, as well as playing keyboard for liturgies, being cantor, and playing keyboard in evenings for fun. Therefore, I take my yearly vacations during the annual Discover Jazz Festivals and soak up as much music as possible. Because I don't feel very comfortable roaming Burlington streets alone at night, I usually limit attendance to afternoon sessions and regretably did not attend your evening concert. However, I do attempt to purchase the CDs of artists who speak to us, and it was my privilege to pick up a copy of Pathways. Please be sure that I shall listen to it on many occasions and shall enjoy it immensely. I also have had for a year or so a copy of Jibaro which is very beautiful. I sincerely hope that you will have positive memories of Burlington and that you will feel very welcome to be in our city in the future. Best wishes!
Sincerely,
Sr. Rita Hammond
